ABOUT GRÍMA ARCHITECTS

Gríma Architects has been operating since December 2015 and is founded on the basis of Studio Strik Architects, which started in 2007. The owner of Gríma Architects is Sigríður Ólafsdóttir, architect..

At Gríma Architects, we emphasize that each project is unique and take into account the local conditions, purpose and needs of our clients. The firm's work is characterized by a meticulous approach, close collaboration with clients and respect for geographical and historical context.

We have extensive experience in designing a variety of structures and preparing planning proposals, including residential housing, hotels, industrial buildings, schools, sports facilities, nursing homes, offices, shops, cultural centers, as well as the renovation of older buildings.

The vast majority of our projects are carried out using BIM methodology. Sustainability is a key aspect of our design and we are well versed in the BREEAM environmental certification system.
